My Thoughts On Undertale

So I have been seeing TONS of Undertale art as well as noticing a good handful of my friends have played it. I didn't really see what was so great about it, but all my friends seemed to really enjoy it. So, to try and understand all the hype, I figured I'd go ahead and give it a try.

Going into the game, I didn't know there were multiple endings possible. I just figured the point of the game was to turn 'em yellow and spare 'em. So naturally, I got the pacifist ending. It took me all of three or so days to complete, maybe 12 hours of game play in all. There were some sad moments as well as some obnoxiously funny moments. However, I can safely say after having tried the game, it could have been better.

As I said, there were some sad moments. But I didn't get all emotional like everyone said I would. I've played far sadder games. So I don't really understand all the hype around the game. I wasn't impressed.

I do, however, really like the character Sans and it would have been interesting to see him in his alternate form in the Genocide ending. However, I don't really feel the game is fun enough to play a second time. To each their own really~
